Tutor Application

Becoming a tutor for international students gives you an opportunity to help new international students, to get to know new people and cultures and gain experience in managing a multicultural group. Please use this application form to apply to become a tutor. The application round for the autumn semester 2019 begins on 1 February and ends on 1 March at 24.00.

Applicants who have not yet worked as international tutors will be invited for an interview which will be on 13-14 March. All applicants will be notified about the selections by the end of March.

Participating in the tutor training is compulsory. The first part of the training will take place on 3-4 May. The second part takes place right before the arrival of the new international students.

Please mark down these dates in your calendar already at this point in order to prevent time conflicts. It is important to note that it is not possible to work as an international tutor without attending the tutor trainings.

Have you worked as a tutor for international students at JYU before?
