Transcript of records

In order to get the transcript of your academic records, please log into Mobility-Online and complete the section “Complete information about departure”. A transcript of records will be sent to the addresses given in the form at the end of January/June.

ISEP students: your transcript will automatically be sent to your home university ISEP Coordinator at the end of January/June and there is no need to fill in a departure information form. However, please give us feedback by filling in our feedback form.

Feedback

The University of Jyväskylä wishes to develop its international study programmes and services for international students. You have a chance to help us by filling a feedback form. It is crucial for the evaluation process to get feedback from as many students as possible.

Certificate of your exchange period

If you are an Erasmus+ student, you will need a certificate with the dates of your stay to be returned to your home university after you return home. Please stop by at the International Office personally to get the certificate no earlier than one week before the departure date. The certificate can be picked up from the International Office Info Desk which is open Mon-Fri 9 am – 3 pm (lunch break at 11.00-12.00).

If your home university has a departure certificate of its own, remember to take it with you. Also, please pay attention to the instructions given in the form. For example, your home university may have requirements as to when the document can be signed.

If you need the certificate earlier than one week before your departure date, please show your plane tickets when picking up the certificate.

Study right at JYU

For most Bachelor's or Master's level exchange students the study right at JYU ends on 31 December or 31 May. You should complete your courses and hand in all assignments by the time your study right at JYU ends.

Housing

It is not possible to terminate a fixed-term tenancy agreement within the tenancy period, even if you decide to leave earlier than originally planned.

Make sure you leave the apartment in clean and tidy condition. Please note that both your room and the common areas (kitchen including the stove and refrigerator, bathroom and hallway) must be cleaned. If the apartment is not in a clean condition, it will be cleaned at your expense.

Do not leave any personal belongings in the apartment. A fee will be charged if you leave any of your belongings in the apartment. Leaving food, garbage or harmful substances is strictly forbidden and may lead to a higher cleaning fee. Consider donating the things you do not wish to take with you to charity, such as SPR-Kirppis (charity shop) in Kortepohja (Isännäntie 1 G) or Fida Secondhand (Tapionkatu 12) or give them away for example through Facebook groups, e.g. Roskalava Jyväskylä.

Remember to return your key to the accommodation office! Do not leave it in your room. If you live in Kortepohja, return both the card and the metal keys.
